History of Unit

Cancercare’s Constantiaberg Oncology unit is situated in the tranquil surrounding of the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, with views of the Constantia mountain range. It is a mere 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, the False Bay coast and beaches and about 15 minutes from the Cape Town central city and the world renowned Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The unit was established in 1993 and most major specialities are represented within the hospital complex, including a bone marrow transplant unit.
